The Perfect Germany Finale | History, Food & One Last Munich Night

We began in the fairytale town of Heidelberg, riding the historic Heidelberg Bergbahn up to the breathtaking Heidelberg Castle. From panoramic views over the Neckar River to wandering the cobblestone streets of the Old Town, it felt like stepping into a storybook.

Then we caught the train to Nuremberg — a city packed with beauty, culture, and heavy history. We explored its medieval Old Town before visiting the powerful and sobering Nazi Party Rally Grounds, a place that forces you to reflect on Germany’s past.

To close out the trip, we returned to Munich for one final night. No rush. No big agenda. Just classic German food, football on the big screen inside a traditional pub, and soaking in the atmosphere one last time before flying home via Doha the next morning.
