বঙ্গোপসাগর ও তৎসংলগ্ন মিয়ানমার উপকূলের কাছে একটি লঘুচাপ বিরাজ করছে বলে জানিয়েছে আবহাওয়া আধিদপ্তর। এ জন্য দেশের দুটি সমুদ্রবন্দরে তিন নং সতর্ক সংকেত দেখাতে বলা হয়েছে।

মঙ্গলবার (৪ নভেম্বর) আবহাওয়া আধিদপ্তরের দেশের সমুদ্র বন্দরের জন্য দেওয়া এক সতর্ক বার্তায় এমন তথ্য জানানো হয়।

এতে বলা হয়, পূর্বমধ্য বঙ্গোপসাগর ও তৎসংলগ্ন মিয়ানমার উপকূলের নিকটে একটি লঘুচাপ বিরাজ করছে। এটি উত্তর-উত্তরপশ্চিম দিকে মায়ানমার-বাংলাদেশ উপকূল বরাবর অগ্রসর হতে পারে। এর প্রভাবে উত্তরপূর্ব বঙ্গোপসাগর এলাকায় গভীর সঞ্চালনশীল মেঘমালা সৃষ্টি হচ্ছে। চট্টগ্রাম, কক্সবাজার, উত্তরপূর্ব বঙ্গোপসাগর এবং তৎসংলগ্ন এলাকার ওপর দিয়ে দমকা ঝোড়ো হাওয়া বয়ে যেতে পারে। এ সময় চট্টগ্রাম ও কক্সবাজার সমুদ্রবন্দরকে তিন নম্বর স্থানীয় সতর্ক সংকেত দেখিয়ে যেতে বলা হয়েছে।

এ ছাড়া, উত্তর বঙ্গোপসাগরে অবস্থানরত মাছ ধরার নৌকা ও ট্রলারকে পরবর্তী নির্দেশ না দেওয়া পর্যন্ত উপকূলের কাছাকাছি এসে সাবধানে চলাচল করতে বলা হয়েছে।
