Two years ago, a quarter of new vehicle sales in California were zero-emission vehicles, also known as EVs or ZEVs*. With the state’s goal of all new vehicles solid being zero-emission by 2035*, #CCCNorwalk Corpsmembers are helping build the infrastructure needed for those vehicles to charge up. At the City of Duarte Public Library in Los Angeles County, a small crew made quick work of setting up a dozen charging stations. From sawing and drilling to leveling and wiring, the skills Corpsmembers pick up with the CCC can help lead them to careers in the greater green technology field.
