Kekan Sudhir Ramnath is an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the 2018 batch (RR), currently serving as the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Mulugu District, Telangana.

He assumed this role in late November 2025, succeeding Dr. P. Shabarish. This is his second stint in the district, having previously served as the Additional SP (ASP) of Mulugu for approximately 15 months.As of early 2026, SP Ramnath is overseeing several critical administrative and security initiatives in the district:

Medaram Jatara 2026 Security: He is the primary officer responsible for the massive security deployment (bandobast) for the Sammakka Saralamma Maha Jatara. His recent efforts include inspecting accommodation for thousands of police personnel and establishing a 10-acre parking facility near the Gattamma Temple to manage the influx of pilgrims.

Anti-Maoist Operations & Surrender Policy: Under his leadership, Mulugu has seen significant activity in anti-insurgency operations. He has actively promoted the state’s rehabilitation policy, resulting in several surrenders of CPI (Maoist) members, citing the "Poru Kanna Ooru Minna" awareness campaign.

Infrastructure Development: He recently oversaw the inauguration of the Narlapur Police Station near the Medaram temple to provide faster police services to the local tribal communities and visiting devotees.
