The Greyhound Scenicruiser (officially the GMC PD-4501) was an iconic American intercity bus introduced in July 1954, with production running through 1956. Greyhound commissioned 1,001 units exclusively from General Motors (GM), making it one of the most recognizable symbols of 1950s-1960s highway travel—complete with its distinctive split-level "deck-and-a-half" design, panoramic upper-deck windows, air-ride suspension, air conditioning, onboard restroom, and futuristic styling influenced by industrial designer Raymond Loewy.
