Kayaking 7 Miles on Elkhorn Creek : First Kayak of 2021

What’s up everyone! In today’s video we are doing a 7 mile route kayaking on Elkhorn Creek near Frankfort Ky. We put in at the put in for Canoe Ky and kayak down just past the pull out point for Canoe KY. This is probably our favorite route that we typically kayak simply because it offers such an nice relaxing variety of kayaking. You get slow calm sections, a few little faster spots here and there. And all in all it’s about a 3-4 hour kayak trip depending on water levels. In this particular video the water level was a little on the low side so we did get hung up a few times, but all in all, not a bad day. It was so nice just to be back out on the water with our Friends, and brining our cousin Sy for his first kayaking experience. He loved it and will definitely be back for sure!
