" Requested by a publisher , could I write a " Spector-esque" Christmas song for a female artist?
I'll get my best wig on and give it a go! I tought it might stand a better chance of adoption if I put
it in a female key and asked my daughter ,Holly, to sing the lead vocal on this demo, with me taking the lower octave. This can't be totally called a " Failed " song , as it did, of course, get covered by The Monkees, which delighted me no end. More than enough for a Christmas gift.
