Be sure to sand your wood before you start your project. A smooth and clean surface is important for consistency.

MATERIALS:
Any kind of wood that you use. Always start a project with scrap wood to determine how it will react to the denatured alcohol and wood sealer.
Denatured Alcohol
Wood sealer like Shellac (spray or paint on. Found in most hardware or craft stores like Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, Michaels).
220 grit sandpaper (Found in most hardware stores).

Tools: Sanders (Orbital, block or handmade)
