Hamilton Mattress (2001) - UNCUT Theme Single (featuring JC-001)

So my dear friend ‪@MaxGoesFourth‬ ended up surprising me with a discovery I hadn't been aware of before; the complete, uncut version of the Hamilton Mattress theme (known in the credits as "Hamilton's Rap")!

Turns out Real World Studios (which the music team from the film came from) released a subscription only magazine called "Real World Notes", which released twice a year between 1995 thru 2003...and included in each issue was an enhanced CD with some of their work!

This came from Real World Notes E-CD #11 (released in December 2000), which likely pinpoints this very early into production (it was officially announced in June 2000, set design work began in September, and production seemed to start around February). The CD listed this as a "work in progress", but it does seem to be the final version seen in the film and on the ABC network in Australia (where, apparently, the special and a custom music video was VERY popular).

After only having the film and said music video for clarity, it's incredible to hear this in all of its clear glory! Seems like a small but steady resurgence is building up (CAKE Distribution, known for Total Drama, seemed to recently pick up the rights to it and is shopping it around for sales), so here's hoping 'ol Sludger gets his day in the spotlight again soon!
