Humous 2013-2023 Dekadang Lumipas

Описание: Humous started out in 2013 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada as Brownfire Movement and later on changed their name to Humous. Original members were: Julius Eugenio on bass/vocals, Mar dela Cruz on vocals/guitars, Johnric Navarro on guitars, and Chris Garcia on drums.

They started writing their original songs right from the get-go, along with playing covers of their favorite Pinoy rock music.
In 2014, Junar Maglalang joined as the drummer and the group went on to play local gigs around Winnipeg.

From 2015 to 2017 they focused on writing and arranging more original materials while playing live gigs in the Filipino local band scene.

In 2017, Humous also started playing solidarity events centered on migrants issues, union workers' rights and other cause-oriented activities. Their songs have always been about raising the spiritual and social awareness of its listeners.

In November 2018, they released their first self-titled album as a three-piece crew at the FSG Hall, supported by other local artists in the community. Ross Soriano was the current guitarist at the time.

In September 2019, they released their 2nd album called "Six Shots of Wisdom" at The Handsome Daughter. Johnric Navarro came back as the trio's guitarist at this time.

In December 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, they bravely launched and released "Old News" their 3rd album with Nelson Villa on drums this time.

2021 was when JC Luna joined in as the drummer, and they continued writing, and recording new songs for the 4th record. "Naked Lies, Naked Truth" was released in September 2021. It was also followed by a live-off-the floor recording at Bedside Studios.

In December of 2022, they released "DosMilBeinteDos", their 5th album. They had an album release show at Raffy's Cafe supported by brother bands in the local scene.

2023 saw the final performance of Humous at the Osborne Taphouse through the support of BadLands Promotions in December 9, 2023 with Rikko De Luna on guitars. The group also announced the recording of their 6th and final album "Whorlworld" by the end of 2023.
