[ARCHIVE] Rizal as an Artist

Описание: As we celebrate the 165th birth anniversary of Dr. Jose Rizal, the National Museum of the Philippines offers a preview of another aspect of his life as an artist as part of the Rizal Digital Exhibition, entitled 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜: 𝙍𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙡’𝙨 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘 𝙋𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙪𝙞𝙩𝙨. This section features the artworks by and about Rizal from the National Fine Arts Collection, and from our generous partners, the National Historical Commission of the Philippines, the National Library of the Philippines, the Ateneo de Manila University’s Rizal Library and University Archives, the Bayanihan Collectors Club, and select private collections. This will be accessible in August 2026, in time for National Heroes Day and the culmination of National History Month.

This project was made possible in partnership with the Malacañang Heritage Mansions, Office of Senator Loren Legarda, the National Historical Commission of the Philippines, and the National Library of the Philippines.
