After a hearty Breakfast and filling Second Breakfast, it's finally time for Elevenses!
At SXSW, your Kitchen Overlord was challenged to create a video a day for an entire week.
Since there are 7 Hobbit meals and 7 days in a week, I decided to tackle details I couldn't include in "An Unexpected Cookbook: The Unofficial Book of Hobbit Cookery."
For the second and third meals in a healthy Hobbit's day, I suggest real, historical foods from the time and place that inspired the Shire, and explain why each tasty bit belongs in either Second Breakfast or Elevenses.
