Does the Phi SYMPHONIA 2 really fly better than low B wings?

Описание: The original "super-high A" wing, the Phi SYMPHONIA, changed everyone's ideas of what was possible in the EN/LTF A class, forever. Is the new SYMPHONIA 2 really that much better than the revolutionary original, as Phi says it is? Does it really fly better than current "low B" wings, and as good as some current "mid B" wings? Flybuble's Nancy and Carlo have tested the new SYMPHONIA 2 a good amount, in a wide variety of conditions, and share their findings with you in this short review.

We first flew and published first flight reviews of the original Phi SYMPHONIA in November 2017. We were so impressed with this new "super-high A" wing - a new term and wing category coined and invented by Phi - that Flybubble's Nancy and Carlo decided to take it with them to Colombia so they could test it in demanding XC conditions. We were blown away by how well this EN A certified, low aspect ratio wing flew. Other pilots were amazed to find out the SYMPHONIA was an A wing - outperforming low B wings, and giving mid and even high B wings a run for their money! We published a full review in February 2018. At first many pilots thought this was an exaggeration however those who flew the SYMPHONIA found out it was true. Now Phi has managed to make an already great wing much better in every respect, which is pretty amazing, we think!
