RAW VIDEO: Grandmother who was shot at ATM gives emotional testimony during shooter's sentencing

Описание: A man who admitted to shooting a woman in front of her granddaughter at a Covington ATM was sentenced Friday to 11 years behind bars.

Kolby Delamar appeared in Kent for his sentencing hearing after pleading guilty in October to first degree assault and first degree robbery for the April 2024 incident at a BECU.

According to court documents, on April 5, 2024, Delamar tried to rob Tina Rothert, 65, with a handgun at an ATM as she tried depositing a check, and as Rothert’s 10-year-old granddaughter was watching in a car nearby.

Court documents say Delamar was with Tryse Phommavongxay, who approached her from behind. That’s when Delamar reportedly approached Rothert with a handgun drawn, grabbed her by the wrist, and demanded she give him $1,000.

She told him that it was not possible because she had a maximum amount she could withdraw from her account, the documents state. She called out for help, and that’s when she says he shot her at least three times in the stomach and left thigh.

Rothert gave emotional testimony during Delamar's sentencing on Friday, explaining her injuries that are still impacting her to this day, and her fear that night.
