Bob tells us about all the available tablets currently in stock here at BJCS. He also compares some of the tablets that we have had to the new Emdoor tablets that were overviewed in previous videos. These Emdoor tablets are going to be compared to the Panasonic Toughpad FZ-G1 and the Dell ruggedized 7212. First off, these units by Emdoor are about the same size as the Toughpad FZ-G1, meanwhile, the Dell 7212 is larger than them all. The W16U and the W12U are also both lighter than the FZ-G1. The 7212 is heavy because it is built to hold two batteries. On the other hand, the Toughpad FZ-G1 is lighter but does not have as big of a screen. Then the Emdoor tablets are both the same size and weight about the same, compared to one. And the Toughpad also weighs about the same as the two Emdoor tablets. The Emdoor W16U tablet comes with a NIC port, a nine-pin RS232 legacy port, a power port, a couple USBs, a USB-C port, and an HDMI port. It comes with a front and rear camera. Then it has control buttons such as a power button, volume control button, and brightness control. Next, the W12U is a skinnier tablet and has a slightly different configuration. It comes with a SIM card slot a USB port, a USB-C port, a DB9 port, and a power port. Next, the Panasonic Toughpad FZ-G1 has a USB port, a NIC port, or a bar-code scanner in the available upgrade slot. But you can only have one at a time. Then it has an HDMI out port and a USB port. The Toughpad also has control buttons such as brightness control, volume control, and a power button. Last but not least, the Dell 7212 comes with a USB-C port, a USB port, an audio port, a docking port, and a SIM slot. Then it also has a power button. The Dell also comes with a dual battery too so it would have a longer potential battery life. The only other tablet on this list that could compare with that would be the Toughpad with its optional extended battery, but with that upgrade, the back of the tablet would be bumped out more to support that bigger battery. When it comes to daylight readability the Dell is the best, then comes the Toughpad, and then the Emdoor tablets are not as daylight readable.
