A gas cylinder explosion in Hyderabad's Preetabad area has claimed the lives of two persons and left 30 others injured, six of whom are in critical condition.

The blast, occurred in a densely populated area, with locals and rescue workers rushing to the scene to assist the victims.

The injured were shifted to the Burns Ward of Civil Hospital, where two victims succumbed to their injuries during treatment. According to Dr Khalid Bukhari, MS Civil Hospital, the condition of all the injured persons is critical.
