Charlie Thorstenson’s second single release with us develops on the narrative that he began with his first single “Stream”. “Stilla” goes deeper into Charlie’s exploratory soundscape and leads us further on this journey to the ocean of sound that awaits us when we arrive at his album “Kretsloop” which comes out in 2021. And with Stilla; Charlie blends the acid of the 303 with the atmospheric spacious texture of his lush and alien reverb blooms, underpinned by the hypnotic beat that is almost reminiscent of a kraut-rock jam whilst maintaining its techno sensibility.

Charlie Thorstenson is a creative soul from Malmö, Sweden. Producer, liveartist and dj. His sound can be described as warm and grainy acid soundscapes combined with a deep techno foundation. Imperfection makes perfection. Those are the leading words in his creative process.
