INGREDIENTS
Crisp
120 g (1½ cup) old fashioned oats
84 g (⅔ cup) all purpose flour
67 g (⅓ cup) light brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
0.25 teaspoon salt
105 g (½ cup) butter, softened, (regular or vegan)
Filling
2 apples, thinly sliced
2 cups blueberries, (frozen or fresh)
0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS
Crisp
1. Preheat the oven to 350° Fahrenheit and grease an 8×8 square baking dish or a 9 inch round baking dish with butter.
2. In a large bowl, add oats, flour, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and butter. Use your hands, a fork, or a pastry cutter to mix everything together until it's fully combined. Set aside while you prepare the filling.
Filling
3. Add the sliced apples and blueberries to a large bowl and toss with cinnamon and vanilla extract. Pour the mixture into the baking dish.
4. Sprinkle the crisp mixture evenly over top of the fruit. Bake for 40-50 minutes, until the top is a light golden brown.
Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream (dairy free or regular). Enjoy!
