On July 14, 1939 Glenn Miller and his Orchestra were in New Rochelle, New York at the Glen Island Casino. That Friday they broadcast two radio shows on the NBC radio network. On the afternoon show they featured Beer Barrel Polka, The Lamp Is Low, The Jumping Jive and Hold Tight. On the evening show listeners heard I Want To Be Happy, My Last Goodbye, The Little Man Who Wasn’t There and Dipper Mouth Blues.
