In 1919, Charlie Chaplin was the most famous man in the world. When he faints during a film shoot in California, he's taken to his office to be checked by a doctor. But as the doctor soon learns, Charlie off-screen is not at all like the lovable characters he is so famous for.

Doctor for Mr Chaplin was written and directed by Mike Booth and stars John MacCormick as Charlie Chaplin and Laurence Saunders as Dr Cecil Reynolds.

It was made in Stratford-upon-Avon, England, and had its big-screen debut at The Empire Cinema in Leicester Square on the 13th May 2017 where it was the winner of the British Lion Award.
