Описание: This is a video by Dr. Herb Riemenschneider of Riverside Urology in Columbus, Ohio. Prostate Specific Antigen or PSA is a simple blood test and is currently the best tool for the early detection of prostate cancer. MRI guided targeted biopsies allow for a biopsy of the suspected area of concern to determine if there is or is not cancer in the prostate. If the diagnosis is prostate cancer then High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) is the new noninvasive approach to curative treatment. HIFU is done in an ambulatory surgery center with no hospitalization and almost no complications. This video also includes a story of a patient that was treated with HIFU.
