This is a very delicious jowar flour halwa (sheera) recipe. This recipe requires half the ghee quantity which we would normally use when we make wheat flour halwa. There is no compromise on the taste/texture and flavor. The ingredients are super simple. This recipe would serve 2 adults.
Ingredients
Jowar (Sorghum) flour - 1/2 cup
Ghee - 1/4 cup
Sugar - 1/3 cup
Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
Sliced almonds - 1 tbsp
Water - 1.25 cups
