How to Calculate Wind Direction from Wind Components?

Описание: This video explains how to calculate wind direction if we know two wind components. The wind components are zonal (eastward positive) and meridional (northward positive). The relationship between wind direction and polar coordinate angle (azimuth) is also provided. We also calculate wind magnitude from wind components using the Pythagorean theorem.
