Richard Brock was a pioneering natural history producer. He was the Series producer of David Attenborough's first series for the BBC Natural History Unit in Bristol. He worked with David for over 10 years ending up as Executive producer on the ground breaking The Living Planet. Increasingly Richard was concerned about the state of the planet and in 2006 he and BBC parted company as he felt they were not telling the full story. From his cottage by the Chew river Richard went on to set up Living Planet Productions and The Brock Initiative making over 100 films about a natural world increasingly in crisis. All his films can still be seen at The Brock Initiative on YouTube.
