Welcome to our simple, budget-friendly bird aviary tour! This aviary was built using mostly materials we already had on hand, which helped keep the cost low while still giving our birds a safe and roomy space to enjoy. The walls are built around concreted-in 4x4 posts, wrapped in chicken wire for full ventilation, and topped with ½-inch mesh bird netting for protection from above.
I also added a slide showing how we used leftover siding from our house build as part of the structure—just another way to stretch materials and save money.
