How to Make a DIY Pearl and Leather Necklace by Denise Mathew

The tutorial teaches you how to use leather in jewelry projects with ease. With some leather cord a few beads and a little time you can have your own unique accessory that is tailored to your personality. You need very little wire wrapping skills and minimal tools. So let's get started!


For the necklace in the tutorial I used about 1 1/2 feet of 24 gauge wire, 2 inches, 20 gauge wire, 10, 10mmx8mm baroque pearls, 1 20 mm twisted silver circle and 1, 15mmx 8mm S shaped hook, 20 inches of 1 mm brown leather cord (black would look amazing too) and 6, 8mm twisted closed jump rings for a necklace that measures 19 inches.
