Weeks later militants stormed the U.S. outpost in Benghazi, killing Stevens, Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods, and Glen Doherty. Emails show Blumenthal warned of bombings and kidnappings before the attack, then sent conflicting memos after, first blaming a video, then pointing to Ansar al-Sharia.
