From one of the craziest alligators we’ve ever worked with getting a home revamp, to kids and families riding an accessible zip line, feeding alligators, and meeting incredible animals — this is what a real day at Gatorland Orlando looks like.

Today we start with JAWS, one of our most intense and powerful alligators, as Savannah and Mike give him a home upgrade designed for safety, enrichment, and long-term wellbeing. Bigger space, smarter layout, and a chance to watch a true apex predator explore something brand new.

Then we shift into one of the most meaningful events we do every single year — Wheelchairs for Kids at Gatorland. This year, 180 families came through the park for a day built around inclusion, access, and pure joy. Kids and families:
• Rode our accessible zip line
• Fed alligators
• Met capybara and other amazing animals
• Explored the park together
• Made memories they’ll never forget

These are the days that show what Gatorland is really about animal care, conservation, community, and heart. From behind-the-scenes alligator habitat upgrades to once-in-a-lifetime experiences for families, this is the Gatorland family showing up in the biggest way.
