Spend the night in a one room shack--in February--in Montana. How do you stay warm? How to you cook? There's NO heat stove in this cabin, but the 3 of us are going to make a night of memories in this historic 1889 homestead shack.
Cook a pioneer meal of bacon, eggs, and sourdough. Wrap up in bear skins and sheepskins. Best of all: light the house with every different sort of oil lamp, oil lantern, and a chandelier of beeswax candles. This is as authentically 1800s as it gets. With knowledge we shouldn't forget today. Survive the night with us!
