In this episode of The Island RPG Tutorial Series, we continue building our pixel-art RPG in Godot 4 by cleaning up parts of the code, improving the enemy idle behavior, and expanding the combat system with four-directional attacks and separate hitboxes.
This is an important step toward building cleaner systems and more polished gameplay.
You will learn how to:
🔹 clean up and improve existing code
🔹 create a random enemy idle walk
🔹 add better attack animations
🔹 use separate hitboxes for four-directional attacks
This episode builds directly on the previous parts of the series and prepares the project for more complexity without turning the code into chaos.
