MCC works diligently to support the private sponsorship and resettlement of refugees. This piece of our work has grown exponentially in the past year. In 2014, we partnered with 8 groups to welcome refugees to Ontario. Since September 2015, we’ve partnered with 220.
This group of men and women, some of whom were familiar with MCC, some of whom were not at all, responded like so many Canadians have to the flight of Syrian refugees, saying simply, “We have to do something.”
They did. And this is this story.
