Verstappen needed only to finish ahead of Lando Norris of McLaren to give Red Bull another drivers’ title. Verstappen credited 'consistency' with the team's success saying: 'We maximise a lot of results, I think even sometimes overperformed in places. Plus our competition also in places they dropped a lot of points. So you also have to take that into consideration and to win championships, you have to be as consistent as you can be.'
