The dust collection hose on my AVID 4896 (8 foot bed) was give me headaches. It was constantly in the way, getting wrapped around the riser and I even ran over it with the bit once.
I devised this ceiling mounted swiveling boom to solve my problem. No more headaches. It works perfectly and cost around $30 even buying materials from my local (translated expensive) hardware store.
