Finally I was able to get in some flights over on the big island at the mountain where I took my first Fly & Learn Tandem 5 years ago!
As you may recall, I had a go last August and due to funky wind conditions ended up injuring two ribs and ruining anything more for 6 weeks...right up to my SIV over in Turkiye!
Because the wind patterns change often, and the ridge Prevost is a part of, a new -to -the -area pilot should take advice on the conditions of the day...any advice will be better than your own.
The flights weren't anything spectacular, but were a refresher for me after 6 months of aviatory dormancy, so well worth the effort! (Yep I made that word up!)
