Описание: Reserve bank of India has decided to increase the repo-rate by 25 basis points to tame inflation. RBI Governor, Shaktikanta Das announced the decision taken by a majority of monetary policy committee members that met between 6-8th Feb.

Sensex reacted sharply and zoomed 350 points in early morning trade.
