‘Justice has prevailed’: TWU celebrates after Qantas loses High Court battle

Members of the Transport Workers’ Union are celebrating after the High Court found Qantas illegally sacked 1700 workers.
Transport Workers’ Union National Secretary Michael Kaine said workers have been “through hell” for the past three years.
“Now, justice has prevailed,” he said during a media conference.
“The reprehensible act has been called out once and for all in the High Court of Australia.”
Mr Kaine is now calling on members of the Qantas board to be sacked for their support of previous CEO Alan Joyce.
