Warrior and the band all took on the glam look and sound on this album and the album failed to impress long time fans. Tom said that glam bands helped refine his guitar skills and on this album he felt confident enough in his playing to expand musically and try something different. In recent years its regarded as their sell out album but at the same time it was different than what other glam bands were doing at the time and like their other albums, has gained a cult following and found an audience that likes the album. Celtic Frost were never a band to do the same album twice, no matter what the response was they got from their fans.
