BASS AT SUNRISE | BIG WRASSE | CHANGING TACTICS | LURE FISHING FOR BASS & WRASSE

Описание: On this cold January morning, i was out early to do some lure fishing for bass. The morning started brilliantly. Within two casts, using the IMA Hound Glide, I was into a nice chunky bass. As the sun started to appear, another bass fell prey to one of my new favourite lures, what a start to the day!

Onto the next mark.. After roughly 30 minutes of fishing i started to get the feeling that this spot wouldn’t produce much.
As i wondered around the large reef i was fishing, i came across a big gully with lots of tide flowing through it.. A great place to try for a wrasse. On went the 10g Sidewinder Slim Skerrie and on the first drop, i was into a fish. I continued searching out the gully, flicking the lure out and bouncing it close to the bottom. As my hope of another fish was fading, BANG! Another wrasse had inhaled the lure. This time it was a much bigger fish.

This was only a short session, however, it was so much fun. With clear crisp skies and a bright sun, it really was the best start to a winters day 🎣
