Students and staff returned to school on Monday in Walkerton, Ont., as the community continues to grapple with the deaths of four students and a teacher.
Matt Eckert, 33, and four teenage girls — Olivia Rourke, Rowan McLeod, Kaydance Ford and Danica Baker — were returning home from a softball tournament in Dorchester when their SUV collided with a transport truck and another vehicle.
Noor Ra’fat spoke reports from the school, where officials with the district say they’re ready to support students and staff through their grief.
