Overlooking the Al-Karkafeh Valley in Bethlehem, The Wonder Cabinet is a a multi-purpose, non-profit exhibition and production space dedicated to contemporary creation. Organised around three programmes —Research and Production, Education and Community, and Public Programming—it offers workspaces for Palestinian artists, engineers, and artisans, fostering learning and collaboration. The three-storey concrete building incorporates locally crafted elements, including steel works and the lighting fixtures. A central void visually connects all floors, guiding visitors from street level through offices and public spaces to underground workshops, performance areas, and a sound studio—creating a space both open to the landscape and rooted in local creative exchange.
