Hard Hat Watches are making a big push to try to break into the New Zealand market, so I was approached by them to help promote their watches. In exchange for a free watch, I needed to make two Instagram reels and grant them the right to use that footage.
I was excited, so I decided to give it a go. Before I could make my first reel, I started getting suspicious. I was doing some testing and found things weren't adding up.
The harder I looked, the worse the company and their products looked.
I wouldn't normally make a big deal about it, but since they are marketing these so hard to unsuspecting tradies, I simply cannot remain silent.
