Описание: In 1140, during a conflict between the Hohenstaufen and Welf dynasties in the Holy Roman Empire, King Conrad III besieged the castle of Weinsberg. After negotiating the surrender, he allowed the women to leave, taking only what they could carry on their shoulders. With cleverness and loyalty, they carried their husbands on their backs — and the king, impressed, kept his word and spared them.

This remarkable act led to the castle being renamed “Weibertreu,” which means “women's loyalty” in German.
