HUNGAMA CHICKEN SIZZLER
Ingredients
Chicken breasts cubes ½ kg
Salt ½ tsp
Black pepper ½ tsp
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Egg 1
Corn flour 3 tbsp
Flour 3 tbsp
METHOD
Marinate chicken cubes with all the ingredients for 30 mins, deep fry till golden, divide into two parts and keep aside.
Ingredients for Chicken No. 1
Oil 2 tbsp
Chopped ginger 1 tbsp
Chopped garlic 1 tbsp
Spring onion bulbs sliced diagonally
Soy sauce 4 tbsp
Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
Chili sauce 1 tbsp
Green chili sauce 1 tbsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Chicken powder 1 tsp
Corn flour mixed in ¼ cup water 1 tbsp
Spring onion leaves 2 tbsp
Ingredients for Chicken
Oil 2 tbsp
Chopped ginger garlic 1 tbsp
Spring onion sliced 2
Schezwan chutney 2 tbsp
Chili sauce 1 tbsp
Green chili sauce 1 tbsp
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Tomato ketchup 1 tbsp
Oyster sauce 1 tbsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Chicken powder 1 tsp
Corn flour 1 tbsp mixed into a paste with ¼ cup water
METHOD FOR CHICKEN NO. 1:
Heat oil in a pan, add ginger garlic with half fried chicken, spring onion sliced diagonally, soya sauce, seasonings, all the sauces, lastly thicken with corn flour, add spring onion leaves and cook chicken till dry and well coated.
METHOD FOR CHICKEN NO. 2:
Heat oil in a wok, add chopped ginger garlic, add remaining fried chicken, spring onion, schezwan chatni, and all the rest sauces and seasonings, lastly thicken with corn flour, cook chicken till dry and coated.
FOR FINAL SERVING
Heat sizzler plate, put on wooden board, put some sliced cabbage and both the chicken side by side on plate, serve with French fries. Put two cubes of cold butter on the plate to maintain sizzler and serve hot.
INSTANT MEDU WADA
Ingredients
Semolina 1 cup
Yogurt ½ cup
Chopped onion ½ cup
Grated ginger 1 tsp
Chopped green chilies 3
Chopped coriander 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds ½ tsp
Baking soda ¼ tsp
Water few tbsp
METHOD
Take one cup of suji mix with yogurt, onion, grated ginger, chopped coriander leaves, chopped green chilies, cumin, baking soda, mix well, add a splash of water, cover and keep for 15 mins, after 15 mins mix, add some more water to adjust consistency, it should be very thick but soft, shape wadas with whole by using wet hands and deep fry few at a time on medium low heat till golden and crisp, serve with coconut chatni.
