Allison 1000, 2000, 3000 and 4000 series transmissions come with the ability to program a variety of Input and Output functions. These use the transmission’s control module, or TCM, to help you get the most out of your vehicle.
Input and output functions are often referred to as I/O functions. In this video series, we are going to highlight a few of our most popular I/O functions. Today we are going to look at Neutral at stop.
Neutral at stop decreases or eliminates the load on the engine while the vehicle is stopped, reducing fuel usage and emissions.
