20 Animated Movie Changes In Other Countries

Описание: One of the benefits of being in the 21st century is in majority of cases, no matter where you live in the world, you know you’ll be able to enjoy and have access to amazing animated movies like Lightyear and Encanto. Having that dependability, whether it be in Disney movies, Pixar movies, or even films from Dreamworks—we’re looking at you Shrek—we’re able to take our knowledge of these films worldwide. But what if that wasn’t exactly true? We’ve discovered that there have been animated movies that premiered with significant differences depending where the big screen was located.

If you think about it, it makes perfect sense for creators to alter their films in order to represent the country its showing in. After all, there are still barriers between countries when it comes to language and culture. Something that makes sense in America isn’t always going to translate properly in Poland. You’ll see what changes needed to be made to Shrek for this exact reason.

From title changes, scene changes, and even character changes, some of our favorite films become unrecognizable when we take a look at what the rest of the world knows these movies as.
