I love the third Aladdin movie's soundtrack. It's cheesy and yeah, Iago has a few too many songs, but luckily this isn't one of them.
When I heard Out of Thin Air, and learned about Haku, he came to find for Aladdin's role because he doesn't remember anything about his past and just 'appeared out of nowhere' (quoted by Kamaji). In my headcanon, Howl is related to Haku, so that's why he's in the role of Haku's missing father.
