I am glad to announce my new series of videos about Portuguese Arts & Crafts, and I am starting big... with a tradition that is over 2000 years old! It was inherited from Roman times and it's called... weaving. I found one of the most talented and dedicated, multi award-winning, weavers in Portugal: Cristina Fachada.
Cristina is from a small village near my hometown Coimbra, called Almalaguês, a place well-known among Portuguese people because of Tecelagem de Almalaguês. Let's see if you too can fall in love for this ancient art!
