Timer found, not new, but it works OK.
Thanks to @CandyBimatic and his advice and information, I changed the two front springs with harder ones and now it seems to work OK. I also put back the original left shock absorber. The right one is almost dead and I have to find the compatible replacement.
This model has a very important improvement in comparison to the similar older ones. (I compare it with the WE852 and WE952 which I use and repair for many years.) During the main wash, the timer "clicks" last 3 minutes and not 1,5 which happens to the rest of the cycle. This doubles the main wash duration, which I think is a very big advantage of the W65A. Also, during the BIO phase, after the temperature of 45 degrees has been reached, the heater remains on for 3 more "clicks" to ensure that the temperature will not fall, which was the BIO philosophy of this era. Also, it rotates both directions during heating and in the wool program.
However, this model has an Eaton timer, which looks like the Holzer ones of the older models, but I have the feeling that the Eaton is of lower quality, less durable than the Holzer.
Despite this, all these Philco series of late 60s and 70s are among the best washing machines ever made. I don't think there is any modern washing machine with such high quality and so good washing and rinsing results. The only thing that modern ones are better is the high spin speed.
