I love the 1995 Wayne Wang film Smoke. Harvey Keitel plays a cigar store worker who takes a daily photograph of his corner in Brooklyn. William Hurt is a friend of his who is looking through the albums of the same exact photo of a mundane street corner, but Keitel explains the little differences in the people who occupy that little corner at that moment.
