About Josh Turner Guitar
Josh began making YouTube videos in 2007. Ranging from popular to esoteric, local to far flung, and playful to serious, Josh’s videos offer a little something for everyone. Josh also performs regularly with long-time collaborator, Carson McKee, as the folk duo The Other Favorites. Josh’s first full-length solo album, As Good A Place As Any, was released in April 2019.

Equipment/Techniqes:
Guitars are a 2008 Martin DR (left) and a 2000 Martin 000-28H. Mandolin is an Eastman MD505.
Instrument mics (not visible) are a pair of sE8 pencils into an ART Pro MPA II, Vocal mic is a Vanguard V13 into a Warm Audio WA73eq. Interface is a Zoom UAC-8. Bounced to a Tascam 424 Mk. II, edited in Pro Tools.
Filmed on a Canon EOS R with a 35mm f/1.8 lens. Edited in premiere.
